The design philosophy used in the dashboard with the yellow stripe and title follows that of the MockFlow’s website. So we opted for a full-screen dashboard experience with top priorities given for usability. However that design did not hold good for power users and managing ton of projects with that interface was clunky. From the initial version of MockFlow, the dashboard followed a small and compact design similar to mobile interfaces. If you are an existing MockFlow user, you might have noticed this big change. Posted in Uncategorized MockFlow Update: New Dashboard design, Email Notifications & Improved document exportĪfter months of hard work, with lots of iterations and feedback we have now unwrapped a brand new redesign of MockFlow’s dashboard which is the highlight of this big release. To make this easier, MockStore now includes a dedicated section for Wireframe design kits as highlighted in the pic below: Since the number of libraries in MockStore is growing at an increasing pace, it might become difficult to find common wireframe libraries for immediate use. MockStore is an online distribution system for MockFlow where users can search and download ready-made components and templates for their wireframe projects. These administrators have full rights over the project including managing project members, revision history, moderate comments except cannot delete the project. A project owner can now set multiple administrators for a project. Now MockFlow introduces ‘Admin’ level sharing of wireframe projects. While co-editor can edit the project in real-time, cannot have any administrator rights over the project like sharing. Previously a MockFlow wireframe project can be shared with only two permissions: Reviewer and Co-Editor. The latest release fixes these issues by making the feedback dialog as a resizable sidebar and also shows user profile pics next to comments to provide a better visual experience. This was due to that fact that the comment box was obtrusive when viewing the wireframe since it was a popup and also posting large comments was frustrating because of the fixed dimensions of the feedback dialog. This post provides a collective information on the updates and fixes released for MockFlow over the last month.īased upon our user research, we found that designers were not satisfied with the user experience of the existing comment box. We are excited to present the 2012 major summer update for MockFlow wireframe tool.
